As many of you are aware.....we here are in the midsts of a medical/surgical "situation".....So, I am asking you all to please understand if I do not reply in a timely manner. We are..for the lack of a better term..a "One Man Operation" so I am asking all of you for some consideration and understanding.. If you have written in..or you have orders that are completed ..I WILL get back to you as soon as I can... Orders paid for will be shipped out ASAP...
I hope we can be "back up and running" in the next few days....It all depends upon how things progress medically...
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING

SALE!! Jim's Surgery Sale!
An Update!! We FINALLY got the surgical clearance for Sue's surgery and now I need to scrape up some serious sheckles to pay for our part and well..that means...a SALE!!! Sale prices are deep discounted and are up and the sale is now running. This sale will run from now until Midnight on Sunday, 12 February 2017 (Las Vegas, NV time). So please take a look and see what the sale prices are..
Now a update..On the Japanese stuff..I have three numbers left to fill in my series and I am in no rush to do so...so the last two in the series that are available are both GenII Dai-Sho and both are deep blow out priced cause I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER JAPANESE BLADE AGAIN..After doing 125 of these I am brain fried..
What is coming: Some more pattern welded pieces using 100+ year old antique Bakelite on the grips...which so far looks to be a very interesting material..Never worked it before and it is presenting some challenges. Also..a word on Ivory
As far as I can tell and can find out...Ivory is banned. Doesn't matter if it is antique, fossil or anything else..the restrictions are so tight and the legal definitions so vague that everything is so confusing that I am not going to use it until a bit more information is a bit more readily available which brings us back to the Bakelite
I have several pieces of what is 100 plus year old (Pre World War One) Bakelite that was made to be an ivory substitute..I am using it right now on several pieces and these will be posted shortly. The material looks quite nice so far so..more will be posted on this and on the "tortoise shell/horn " substitute Bakelite that I also obtained...
All in all..please take a look and see what is available and as always..if you have any questions or would like additional photographs please feel free to ask.
THANK YOU for your interest in us..
