Item number 01 is simply HUGE . I intended to keep this one (and the Katana listed below) for myself but urgent medical needs take precedence  so this one is for sale.

This is a Gen III blade. laminated 1070 and L-6 steel. The blade shape is Uno-Kobe Shobu Zukuri and  it is 36 1/2" in length with two (2) Bo-Hi on each side.

The Hamon is Gunome and it shows a lot of 'frost" and activity. The Hada shows excellent grain/lamination structure. This blade is WICKED sharp.

The mounts are done in bronze with silver and gold leaf accents/details in a "deamon" motif.

The tsuka is wood covered in red same-gawa wrapped in red silk in my modified "battle wrapping". It is 17" i length and secured to the nakago with two (2) mekugi.

This is a real beast of a sword yet it handles surprisingly well due to the blade's geometry. This sword simply "works" as it should..

The wood siya is black under red cracked lacquer and it is sealed with 6 coats of hard, clear lacquer. The overall length of this sword is a impressive 55". As I said tis is a beast and very eye catching, Truly a one of a kind piece. This one was made when we were still in Nevada and I was still experimenting with both blade length and blade styles.

If you would like additional photos feel free to ask.

I hate to see these go but "life" happens..

This blade would usually list for $3600.00
